Expertise/ Field of Concentration
Summary of Relevant Experience Since receiving the WURI award, I have actively contributed to advancing best practices in university innovation and internationalization across the Philippines by freely sharing insights and strategies drawn from our WURI-recognized initiatives. These engagements were conducted without professional fees, reflecting a commitment to capacity-building and equitable access to global innovation standards in higher education. I have delivered mentoring and knowledge-sharing sessions to more than 20 higher education institutions, including Agusan del Sur State College, SPU Iloilo, Bulacan State University, Romblon State College, Dasmariñas College, Northwestern University, ISUFST, PhilSCA, Misamis University, MAAP, Laguna State Polytechnic University, Pampanga State
Agricultural University, Sultan Kudarat State University, Capiz State University, University of the Visayas, Dr. Yanga Colleges, and Batanes State
College. In addition to individual institutional engagements, I was invited to mentor and present in sector-wide and consortium-based programs, reaching a significantly broader audience. These include:
CHED Regional Office II, with participation from 44 universities and colleges;
UniTVET, attended by more than 1,000 technical-vocational institutions nationwide;
PASUC–NCR, with participation from fewer than 10 state universities and colleges;
ADREM, with approximately 20 universities in attendance.
Across these engagements, I provide structured guidance on university internationalization strategies, innovation ecosystem development, and alignment with WURI frameworks, emphasizing practical and replicable approaches that institutions can adopt regardless of size or resource level. My mentorship focuses on translating institutional initiatives into measurable innovation outcomes consistent with WURI’s vision of globally competitive and socially responsible higher education.
By bridging Panpacific University’s award-winning practices with the diverse needs of Philippine higher education institutions, I aim to strengthen institutional capacity for global engagement, improve readiness for international rankings such as WURI, and support the development of innovative learning environments that prepare students to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
